How about this T-shirt!? My mom and I looked and looked everywhere for a shirt that had this awesome phrase on it after seeing Sara Libby sport a tank version beautifully; but, were never able to find one that said it exactly the way we wanted and nothing more. So, we bought some comfy cotton Ts from American Apparel and had the letters pressed on at a local print shop.
Out here in Oregon, the sun is shining, and then it’s not, and then it is again! Welcome to spring! Ha! These jeans were another awesome find from my local second-hand shop — $4.99! I love the high waist and the light wash. I cut and ripped them myself, threw them in the wash, and wah-lah! Perfectly distressed, high-waisted, cute jeans for a whoppin’ 5 bucks. YES. I’ve said it a million times and I’ll say it again … second-hand shopping is so fun and rewarding!! If you feel a little yucky about the idea of sifting through or wearing someone’s used clothes, which is totally understandable, just wash ’em! Wash them twice if that makes you feel better. In my opinion, it’s completely safe and clean. Also, you will probably never see anyone else wearing the same pieces you discover at any second-hand shop! That’s part of the reason I love it! I paired the outfit with my new Birkenstocks, which I love because they are so comfortable. It’s hard to find sandals that are both cute and comfy. I got my first pair for Christmas when I was in seventh grade, and I’ve never looked back! They tend to run a little pricey, but they will last forever (I still have the pair from seventh grade). I bought the bohemian head piece on Poshmark, which I explain a bit more in a previous post, for only $8.99. The lip stick I am wearing is by Mac, which I am totally and completely obsessed with.
Thanks for reading! Have a wonderful Sunday!
