Bold Styles

I was so stoked to go into the Free People store in the local mall, since I’m here visiting family in southern California and there isn’t one in the small town I’m from (sad, I know). I have to say, I’m so excited that I’m starting to rack up the FP items in my closet! Free People’s clothing tends to be a bit more expensive than the average stuff, but it’s SO worth it for the quality.

The materials and intricate details that FP incorporates into their styles make it way worth the money. The items that I’ve splurged on are comfortable, whimsical and everyday pieces I wear. I wish I could have an entire wardrobe of FP items!

I purchased this beautiful and bold long shirt from the FP store here, which I’m so happy I scored in the sale section! I also got these adorable short booties, which I have been eyeing for some time. I love the strappy, laid-back look the boots have and the faded tan color. I threw on my favorite jean shorts for this end-of-summer day, but I will definitely be wearing this shirt with leggings and boots come fall and winter! I also added my new favorite purple lipstick from Mac becuase, why not? I am starting to experiment with lots of different lip shades lately. As I am not a huge makeup gal, throwing on some mascara and a cute lip color is really easy and fun! Thanks for reading and have a GREAT Labor Day weekend!!
